Directions for Use

• All surfaces must be free of any dirt, grease, rust, moisture, loose paint or any other material that might interfere with proper adhesion. Glossy surfaces must be dulled by light sanding with emery #600 or #800. Metals should be rust free. Rust can be removed using an appropriate rust remover and a scrubbing pad. Primers such as epoxy primer can be used for best results on metal.
• Cover adjescent areas with masking tape to protect from spray mist. Use at room temperature.
• Shake can vigorously for a minute before spraying and occasionally while in use to ensure colour uniformity and prevent clogging. A great tip is to heat up the can in a hot water bath before use.
• On a previously painted surface test spray in an inconspicious area to ensure the paint is compatible and does not cause any wrinkling.
• Hold can 12-16 inches from the surface to be painted.
• Depress the spray button firmly with steady even strokes while moving can back and forth over the surface to be painted. Start the stroke some distance before and end some disctance after the surface to get an even finish. It is better to apply 3-4 thin coats with an interval of 10 minutes rather than one heavy continuous coat of paint.
• Should paint bubble or run, you are too close to the surface.
• After use, turn the can upside down and depress valve button for several seconds to clear valve until only gas emerges so as to prevent clogging.
• Discard empty can in trash pickup. Do not burn can or dispose in a garbage compactor.
