MRF Epidec Epoxy Paint - RAL Shades 1L

MRF Epidec Epoxy is an Epoxy paint that can be used, with the right primer,  on virtually any surface including cement, mild steel, plastic, wood, aluminium to name a few. MRF Epidec is a high performance Epoxy paint with superb coverage and finish. It has outstanding wear resistance and protects the painted surface from erosion due to corrosion or mechanical friction. The paint is easily applied using a brush, roller or spray, using an epoxy thinner as the solvent. Its ease of application and self levelling properties lend a superb finish even when applied by brush. 

An Excellent Industrial Metal Paint - forms a tough, wear resistant film on the painted surface.

Benefits

• Due to the inert nature of Epoxy it is compatible with almost all solvent based top coats - It is compatiable as an under coat for Enamels, Alkyd Paints, NC Lacquers, PU Paints and Epoxy Paints.
• The Zinc Phosphate actively protects steel.

• Breathable coating - allows for any trapped moisture to evaporate and acts as a barrier to liquid water.

Technical Guidelines

• Mixing Ratio: Base : hardner - 4 : 1 - supplied in pre-measured packs.
• Recommended Thinner : MRF 1110 Thinner - 10% by volume
• Pot Life : 45 minutes
• Under coats : Epoxy Primer

Notes

• The Best finish can be achieved by spray.
• This paint is not recommended as a topcoat for exterior applications. Polyurethane coatings such as MRF Metal Coat are recommended as the top coat for external application due to their superior UV resistance.
