The MRF Transparent wood filler can be used to fill undulations and grains in wood. As it has a transparent finish, it can be used as an under coat for polishes and other wood finishes such as PU, Water base acrylic finishes and PUs, Melamyne and Polyester. It is quick drying and gives good hardness. Has good clarity and does not dull the natural finish of the wood.
The wood filler can also be tinted using any solvent based wood stains, such as MRF Wood Stains, to suit the colour of the wood and also to create faux effects. Beautiful artitistic effects can be acheived using this technique.
Typical applications are
- in the finish of rough grained woods.
- in the finish of veneers.
- finishing of knotted and exotic woods while maintaining its natural look.
