Asian Paints Knifing Paste Filler is a ready to use solvent-based filler that can be used to fill and level dents on wood and metal surfaces. It is grey in colour and is supplied in a paste consistency. This product can be used in combination with any solvent based wood or metal primer.

Application procedure

  • Apply appropriate metal/wood primer. Primers soluble in mineral turpentine oil are compatible with KPF. Allow to dry.
  • Apply a thin coat of KPF using a putty knife.
  • Allow to dry for 4 -6 hours and sand using water emery grit 180. Wipe clean.
  • Allow to dry and apply another coat if needed.
  • Apply a coat of the primer over the finished surface. Surface is ready for the finish coat.
