Sheenlac Wood Polish

Sheenlac wood polish is a lac based polish which gives excellent gloss and gloss retention when used on interior furniture. It is quick and easy to apply and the most economical form of wood finish.

• Easy to apply - Can be easily applied using a cotton rag.

• Water resistant - resists occasional spillage.

Application

• For new wood, first sand the wood along the grains using emery grit 80.
• Subsequently sand with grit 120.
• Apply a coat of Sheenlac Sealer, after thinning sufficiently with Sheenlac NC Thinner D13X, with a cotton rag or a putty knife. Allow to dry for 4-5 hours.
• Sand with Emery grit 180. Wipe off the sanding dust with a wax rag.
• Soak a cotton rag in Sheenlac wood polish and apply along the grains of the wood.
• Repeat until desired result is achieved.

Limitations

• Use only on interior furniture. Exposure to sunlight will lead to quick deterioration of the polish film.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to water.
