MRF Metal Coat Universal Primer Grey 1L

MRF Universal primer is a PU based primer that can be used on virtually any surface including cement, mild steel, plastic, wood, aluminium, glass, ceramic tiles to name a few. This primer can be used as the single base for multiple surface. The primer is easily applied using a brush, roller or spray, using a polyurethane thinner as the solvent. Its ease of applicaiton and self levelling properties lend a superb finish even when applied by brush. This primer can be overcoated by most paints, inculding epoxy, PU, enamels, and even waterbased paints.

An Excellent Universal Primer for applications where multiple adjescent surfaces have to be coated with a single paint Eg. Bus Bodies (metal, glass, fiber, aluminium), Art, Industrial machinery (metal, fiber) etc.

Technical Guidelines

• Mixing Ratio: Base : hardner - 4 : 1 - supplied in pre-measured packs.
• Recommended Thinner : MRF Thinner for Finish - 10% by volume
• Pot Life : 45 minutes
• Top coats : Epoxy, PU(Polyurethane), NC(Nitrocellulose), Alkyd, Enamels
