Birla WallCare Putty 1Kg

Birla Wallcare Putty is a white cement based powder putty for smooth cement plastered wall surfaces. The putty can be applied directly on to the plastered surface without the need of a primer for binding. White cement based putty has good strength and abrasion resistance. Birla Wallcare putty also has excellent whiteness and anti-carbonation properties.

Limitations

• Finish is semi-smooth.
• Cannot be used on wood.
• Material is in powder form and has to be mixed with water using a mechanical mixer to obtain the usable product.

Method of appication

• Prepare surface to be free of dust, dirt and grease. Remove using mechanical means.
• Mix Wallcare putty with 30-35% water by weight to make a paste. Mix putty thoroughly using a mechanical mixer.
• Pre-wet the surface before application of birla putty.
• Apply putty in a bottom to top direction using a putty knife.
• Allow to dry for atleast 3 hours before a second coat.
• Sand any putty blade marks on the surface and then go for painting.
