Description
Product Details

Touchwood Exterior silky matt gives a luxurious feel to the wooden surface. It can be applied on exterior wooden surfaces exposed to sun and rain and also on interior wooden surfaces. It can be applied on surfaces that under go daily wear such as table tops and entrance doors. The coating is resistant to the effects of sunlight and water, thus providing a long lasting protection to the wood.

Application

Sanding : Sand the surface usin emery paper 180 grit and then using emery paper 320 and wipe clean.
Thinning : Thin by adding 5% volume of Mineral Turpentine Oil in case of brushing and 15-20% in case of spraying.
Application : Apply in a flowing coat to ensure maximum penetration.
Recoating : Apply 3 coats of Woodtech Touchwood Exteriors at an interval of 8-10 hours. Sand lightly with emery paper 320 grit between coats.

Points to note

Use of inferior quality thinners and sealers/fillers should be avoided since it compromises the quality of the coating.

Technical Details

Recommended Thinner : Mineral Turpentine - 5 to 20% by Volume
Drying and recoating Time : 6-8 hours
Coverage : 70 - 80 sqft per coat. Subsequent coats will have up to 15% higher coverage.
