A door with plain boring paint.
Position the stencil on the door. Make sure the stencil is completely flat on the surface. Stick it on at all four corners using the provided masking tape. Mask the surrounding area using the masking sheet and the masking tape provided.
Spread out sheets of old newspaper on the floor near the door and tape in place.
Shake the spray paint can well. Test spray the can onto a sheet of newspaper spread out fully on the floor. Practice sweeping the can in a smooth continuous motion.
Keep the nozzle of the can approx 6 inches away from the door and press. Spray on the paint in a smooth sweeping motion, over running the stencil approx 2 inches on each side. Don't spray excess material or apply too many coats of the paint at once. If the desired hiding is not achieved at first, apply subsequent coats with a gap of approx 10 minutes between coats.
Remove the stencil about 10 minutes after the last coat of paint.
Reposition the stencil as desired and repeat the above process.
The supplied thinner can be used to clean any overspray. Dab the thinner onto a clean cloth and wipe gently. Too much thinner or pressure while cleaning may result in the original paint coming off the door.
Wait for about 5-6 hours for the paint to cure completely.
This kit can be used on walls too. The method of application remains the same.
Pretty butterflies adorne your home.
