Emporio Insulator NEO Epoxy 4Ltr Kit - Resin 2Ltr + Hardner 2Ltr

Asian Paints Woodtech Epoxy Insulator is a multipurpose transparent epoxy that can be applied on wood to create a barrier coat between the wood and Polyurethane (PU). The application of the Epoxy Insulator NEO provides the following benefits:

• The insulator acts as a barrier coat thus preventing leaching of oils from the wood that could cause film failure of the finish coats such as polyurethane.
• Any chemicals and solvents that have been used to prepare the wood surface are also prevented from reacting with solvents and polymer coatings applied subsequently.

• The Insulator forms a tough, transparent and colourless coating on the wood. It does not change the natural colour of the wood.
• It is supplied in easy to measure packs. The hardner : epoxy ratio is a simple 1 : 1
• It can be used as a barrier coat for polyurethane(PU) coatings on wood.
• It does not react with commonly used solvents such as xylene, toluene, acetone
• Can be applied by brush, spray or rag.
• Ready to apply and does not need any thinning.

Method of Application

• Mix the hardner and resin in the ratio 1 : 1. Mix only the amount that can be used within 45 minutes of mixing.
• Soak a rag with the mixed material and spread across the wood in the direction of the grain.
• Wait for 24 hours for the Epoxy Insulator to completely set.
• Apply subsequent coats of material as required.
