Application

Step 1 - Base coat

  • Apply base coat Royale Luxury Emulsion - Paradise Bay (7409) with dilution as indicated on the tin. Apply 2 coats using the 9" roller for proper hiding. Use the 3" Brush to cover the edges.
  • After drying of the base coat (about 5-6 hours), use the mountains and horizon stencil and the 2" multi purpose roller kit to paint the mountains and the horizon in Fresh Leaf (9309). Do not dilute paint used to create the stencil patterns. Use masking tape to stick the stencil.

Step 2 - Top coat

  • Mark out a grid of 2'x2' across the wall using chalk and measuring tape.
  • Place the stencils on the grid as shown on the product packaging. Stick corners of the stencils using masking tape.
  • The stencils can be painted into using the 2" multipurpose roller and where required, a flat brush can be used. 
  • The order of the stencils is indicated on the product packaging. Apply the stencils in the sequence shown.
  • In case of a different wall size, use pro-rata calculation to work out the position of the stencils.

Product Instructions

  • Each Stencil is 2' x 2' in dimension.
  • While painting into the stencil, DO NOT DILUTE THE PAINT. Do not add any water. It is critical to ensure a good finish and to avoid running and smearing of the paint.
