Vektor PU Metallic Colours 1L

Vektor PU Metallic is a single component polychromatic polyurethane finish for wood and metal. It is a base finish which needs to be coated with polyurethane lacquer for the final finish. The lacquer can be Glossy or Matte finish. The glossy finish lacquer is the more popular finish as it enhances the sparkle of the metal flakes in the paint. The polychromatic effect of the paint enhances the contours of the metal or wood work.

Application

• Prepare surface by priming with an Epoxy Primer or using a NC Primer Surfacer.
• After air curing of the primer coat, fix imperfections using a polyester putty or NC based putty.
• Apply an additional primer coat and allow to cure.
• Mix Vektor PU Metallic : Vektor PU thinner 1:1 by volume.
• Spray onto prepared surface in an overlapping pattern.
• Pearlascent finishes might require an additional coat.
• Allow to cure for 24 hours.
• Apply a PU clear top coat in gloss or matte finish as preferred.
